About Me

Hello, I am a Fourth-year undergraduate student at Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Kharagpur pursuing major (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical enginnering and minor in Computer science. Well I am person who takes interest in solving problem in the field of Robotics, Computer vision and Deep learning. The prospects and capabilites of these fields in solving problems that are pertinent to daily lives is energizing. IGVC

Eklavya 6.0 is an autonomous ground vehicle capable of navigating through obstacles while staying between the lanes and following GPS coordinates. I along with my 4 friends represented IIT Kharagpur at the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition 2018 held at Oakland University, Michigan, USA and stood 2nd out of 43 teams from different parts of the world in the Auto-Nav challenge.

I am a member of Autonomous Ground Vehicle(AGV) Research Group, IIT Kharagpur where we are working on differnet aspects of building autonomous cars which are suitable for Indian condition. The group is also participating in Mahidra driverless car challange.

I have been activly working on Traffic light detection using Deep learning based pipeline. Currently, I am tring to train a single model for Traffic light and Traffic Sign where we don't have any common dataset available.

Traffic sign detection using various vision based approach like Haar feature, Histogram of oriented feature, Hybrid feature etc. The vision based approach gives a important feature to reduce computational expenses and reduce time.(Project demo to be uploaded soon)
